The demographics of the US population argue that the housing crisis will never be over, in that housing prices will stagnate or get worse but not increase.
There is no demand for housing to consume the current supply, let alone cause an increase in national prices. Had Fannie and Freddie never existed, we obviously wouldn’t be in the position of having the market collapse from artificially high prices to begin with.
They came knocking on my door trying to get me to refi and have been calling consistently from various numbers. I would not open the door, they guy asked if I would turn on my pouch light for him but my response: “What do you want? You knock on my door and now you want me to do you a service? Seriously?” Jerk!
